I recently had a patio put in and I noticed a thin crack in the foundation. Inside and out. About 2 feet long. Not sure if it was there before or if it got damaged when the patio was being put in. May it got bumped by a uniloader/bobcat when digging.
What should I do to treat this crack so that it does not get larger or cause a problem in the future.
Should I just put concert caulk over it? Or is this a better perventative messures. The house was built in 1953.
