I need some advice. I am currently constructing my home and want to install a skylight. Would welcome any suggestions regarding the placing a skylight on a corrugated galvanized roof.

1.Would the skylight's material affect the galvanized (zinc)?
2. Would the laying of the skylight on the corrugated roof be difficult to achieve?
3. What is the probability of leaks developing?

An example of what I am considering is attached. :?:

1a. No - most often the material of the skylight is some type of aluminum flashing - or at least the parts that are touching the roofing.
2a. No - typically you will install a curb (it may be fabricated right into the skylight also) so it will sit above the roofing.
3a. From what I've seen the probability is relatively high. Everything needs to be installed and then doubled up, as far as I'm concerned.
Take what I've said with a grain of salt as I personally don't regard skylights as a good method of getting light into a home.

The only problem with a properly installed skylight could be condensation, regardless of roof type.

Velux skylights can be used on this type of roof. The skylight is mounted to the roof deck, then a special flashing is used to tie the skylight into the metal roof.

Personally if I was asked to bid this I would pass only because it would be very very tricky, and would take alot of time to do it right.
