Hello everyone,
I have been searching for some advice for a long time now, I thought that the only true advice would come from my peers in a forum.
I have been in the construction industry since 1980. I have been in the housing industry and Union heavy construction industries. I have been beat up as many of us have, 2 back surguries, knees, blown disc's in the neck and back ect...
Being that I have only been in the construction industry I can't leave it and make a good living. So I need to move up, I have looked at project management programs on line and I don't know if they hold any weight. I have the building exp. but a certificate is not a door opener. Am I right? The companies want a B.S. degree.
Does anyone have a recomendation on an on line school, and would a company want a life long carpenter with a cert. or do I need a 4 year degree?
