Introduction

I guess I should introduce myself to everybody.
My name is Rich and grew up in Montana - currently live in Denver CO. My experience in construction began in 1984 when I began building homes with my Dad. We did everything except for drywalling and some larger electrical portions of work. After I graduated from High School I went to school for architecture and then for construction engineering management. During the summers I worked for a logging company. I took a year or two off from school at one point and worked for a lumber mill. When I had just 2 classes left in college I got frustrated from not learning a whole lot - I quit. I then started my own company in partnership with 2 other companies. This is where I learned log and timber framing as well as quite a few tricks for trim.
So in a nutshell that's who I am.

My name is Thomas, also called Grumpy by those that know me online for reasons that will become obvious if you come to know me. My construction experience just after I was potty trained in aiding my Dad with several renovations. All my toys for christmas were tools and half my classes in high school were trade related. Yeah.. the traffic for the site is decent (300+ uniques /day), but not many people stick around to ask questions on the forum.
