Server Move

In the next week or so we'll be moving to a new host.. just want to give everyone a heads up. The forum will say something along the lines of "We're sorry the forum is unavailable while we move to a new server". Once that message goes away we will be on the new server - and hopefully more stable and faster.
I'll apologize ahead of time for any inconvenience.

Whew.. took a couple days but I think we made it.
I sincerely apologize for the problems and downtime. Database was just a bit too big for uploading and it kept timing out.
Anyway - there may be a few residual issues (like a thread/post having no information) just let me know and I'll get it fixed right away.

I guess there are still a few issues with the articles and affiliate link sections. Will continue to work on.

I've been "testing " the site for a couple days trying to get on, looks like you've got it going your way and thus ours, thanks Rich

Thanks.. I was getting pretty warmed up trying to get the database transferred. Had a few choice words for the server admins.

The worst part of it was the 6000+ emails I got from the software telling me there was a database error.

I guess I picked a good time to be up to my eyeballs in cement. I did not notice a thing. Thats my way of saying great job to the IT guys.

I wish this website did well enough to have an IT dept. The one IT guy is me. I agree - some things that a computer does (or doesn't do) seems like voodoo magic.
