House and commercial painters that is. Can anybody give me tips on how to get painting jobs? and not just house painting but commercial too.
Interior painting :)
Send your information to contractors in your area. For commercial you should contact them and get on their bid list.

Try your local hotel renovation experts as they always have work, summer/winter, always with A/C and Heat in both weather.
Work is usually pretty steady and these types of contractors are always looking for good crews.
I own one and would love to get new resumes on future workers.

Try giving your warm weather clients a coupon with a good price for interior painting only good during the winter months you specify. Follow up with them as winter approaches. Better yet, give them five and tell them you'll given them a referral fee for each sold job

A "five" or is that 5% of what you bid and factor in the cost? - That sounds like insult to the customer.
