Hey everyone, first post.
I just bought a house and want to redo the roof. I want to know what type of shingles will make it stand out the most and look good. Clay, Concrete, or Tile?

Better check the weight of those options and compare it with the roof structure you have.

Don's right. A roof has to be designed to support what you're asking.

On most houses, the roof should be a matter-of-fact thing, and it is often best not to call attention to the roof when it is not the major design element of the house. Also, the shingles that purport to "look like" this or "look like" that really do not fool anyone. Often, they just look like sloppy shingles. It's best to look at and analyze the house as a whole, and not piece by piece. Otherwise, one can end up with various parts of the house all shouting "look at me look at me", and instead of a symphony, there is cacophony.
