home building with concrete

Hi there, I am currently doing a bit of research on building with concrete or cement. If anyone has any knowledge or opinions please feel free to tell me. I would like to build an enviromentally friendly, energy efficient, budget friendly residance (spelt wrong - oops). Any alternative ideas are welcome. thanks.

There is a great website devoted just to concrete homes that a friend of mine runs. It's www.concrete-home.com - excellent forum with quite a few articles on the good and bad of concrete homes.
