Hi
I would like to show people a few examples of building surveys we have recorded using a 3d laser scanner in Suffolk, UK. Please do visit our site and take a look http://www.laser-scanning-buildings.co.uk. The data is fantastically detailed, in the most densely measured survey areas we were looking at about 2mm point spacings. I'm most keen on this as a new method for capturing rectified imaging for building elevations. This 3d scanner was used thanks to Leica Geosystems, UK
