Spread sheets for tracking costs

Anyone out there have any spreadsheets set up for tracking costs on a building project.
I see no reason to reinvent the wheel if someone already has something to keep track of what has been ordered, use, price per item, item total, etc.

I'm not sure if we have any, I'll take a look. But I know that some have found similar ones that are easily modified at the Microsoft Office Templates site. Just do a yahoo or google search for it and you can get a link to them :)

This was just discussed in the Construction Management Software thread. I would recommend that you check that out. If you are looking to track costs on small projects then Microsoft templates would be a good start. Also look at the “Budget templates” on this sight. There are a couple of good ones that you can alter into cost tracking for small projects.
