How To Construct a Stationary Window

Newbe Here!!I am looking for non-complicated ideas on the construction of fixed glass windows. Specifically, I am wanting to make windows using tempered glass sheets that are 5ft. Long x 21in. Wide x approx 3/8in thick. I will be placing them on the roof of a diy greenhouse project that is wooden framed. Any help would be appreciated.

Googling capping bars or glazing bars might turn up someone who sells just the parts. The capping bar pic on this UK site shows one good way. Lapping the sheets shingle fashion down the slope with furring strips at each step would probably work.
