Tool Leash

I've been looking for a leash or tether to use with power tools while I'm working on a ladder or on the roof. I don't like the idea of using rope since I don't like the idea of getting yanked. But, I found this shock-absorbing tether thing on this website: http://www.shockles.com/products/tooltether.cfm

Anybody have one of these or know anyone who does?

Looks just like our fall protection lanyards. This is probably spam - but it's an interesting concept so I'm leaving it. Could prove useful to someone.
