Popcorn ceiling

I'm in the process of painting my popcorned ceiling, as I was rolling it, some of the popcorn finish came off, leaving smooth spots on my ceiling. Is there a spray i can buy at Lowes/Home Depot that will fix it???
Or what do I do??

The big box stores do carry a can to patch popcorn ceilings. It's $15 or so a can.

If you use a 3/4 inch nap roller you should knock down to much.

Have you thought about removing the popcorn entirely?

im with the above guy, just remove the popcorn. it will take a day to do it to your whole house. lay down lots of plastic. lightly spray water on the popcorn ceiling, then take a 12" or bigger broad knife and wipe across the ceiling and the stuff comes right off. very easy, just messy. the end result is very rewarding
