Does anyone know what the code is in Pa for sheathing on a roof? In other words, I am planning on re-roofing and I have 3/8 ply, 16 in on ctr with a 5/12 pitch. Some contractors say I need to re-sheath with 1/2 ply while others do not. I've looked in the 2006 ICC code and can't find anything. Any info would help, thanks.

Plywood has a stamp that'll say something like 24/0... 24" rafter span, not allowed on floor, or 32/16... can be used on rafters spaced up to 32" apart or on floors with joists up to 16" apart. Top number is rafter spacing/bottom number is floor joist spacing.
