With the economy down the way it is, we all know this is a buyers market. I can't believe it but I was able to buy a house in Phoenix, AZ for 54k. Of course it needs work but at that price, I couldn't pass it up. So I packed up my things in Seattle and drove my way down to the valley. Now that I'm here Im realizing that this house may need more work then I planned on. I purchased a Uhaul truck in Seattle before I left so I would be able to take my time with the move and use the truck as storage... plus the price to buy seemed to be better then the price to rent. Anywho I decided only to unpack the things I needed and leave the rest in the truck until the remodeling was complete. Its just so overwhelming right now. I don't know where to begin. I don't want to live out of my Uhaul truck for forever! lol Im just in flabber gasted at the amount of work. Any advice is welcomed!

first - no PINK in the forum.....

hire a contractor, there is bound to be a few guys slow on work that could blow your retrofit together in a hurry, if you have to pay alittle more, what is the diff, your in a little quicker, right??

either make the remodel your #1 goal, or hire it done....my only advise
