Hi, my names is alex from The Fence Firm here in miami. I was wondering what stain would be best for cedar? You know, pretty much the traditional colors they give it. I've done plenty of regular wood fences but we're fairly new to cedar. I want something along the lines of darker posts with maybe a lighter stain or no stain at all on the boards. Any ideas? Let me know! thanks alot!!
Thank you! :D

I've had good luck with Behrs semitransparent stains----the oil based variety would be best for longevity. Water based is easiest to apply----both available in many shades. You will need to plan on two coats though with water based you can apply 2nd coat almost immediately.

If it's available in your area, the Cabot's brand is the best. It is available in many colors and varieties.
