Help me with I-Joists for rafters

I have a 32x48 house that I am building. I have 16'' x 22' I joists that are going to be used to rafters. Should i PUT THEM on 16 o.c? What kind of material for a ridge beam? I found a deal in this and was hoping to use them for my rafters. I believe this will give me a 9/12 pitch or so.,.,,\

I also wanted to leave most of the home cateral ceilings? Is this possible? what about collar ties?

You have to follow the I-joists manufactures installation guide. You can't just wing this. Are you designing this for your own house, a job? Are you planing on getting permits? Are you a Homeowner or Contractor?
