Hi
Due to timings as well as weather i am considering installing drywall before i get to pour my slab. IS there any major downside to this. i know there is alot of moisture involved with pouring a slab, would having dehumidifiers in the house during slab pour at later date help.

I would personally wait until after the pour to drywall. Besides the splattering of concrete on your drywall, there willl be movement during the pouring, leveling, and the curing of the concrete.

Sorry I should have specified a little more, I am drywalling the main floor ceiling and walls, not the basement walls, the basement will be developed after the slab is done, but i want to move along with main floor and get the ceiling insulated so i can get start heating, so do you see any issues with humidity on the main floor.

Well if it's wide open you can't do much about humidity, but the movement issues are still in effect.
It is unconventional, however I have had projects in similar situations. You shouldn't have any problems as long as the area you are hanging the rock in is fairly weather tight. Sometimes you have to do what you got to do to move things along.
