Scenario: Chair was accidentally scratch on the white wall. Repainting the damage made the damage more highlighted...

Is there a way to match the color of the wall with the paint? :?: :?: :?:
(I know there are computerized matching in the store... Does it mean I have to chip a portion of the original paint? If yes, how large is necessary?) :?: :?: :?:

More than likely if the paint on the wall is older than 4-6 months you won't be able to hide the damage by repainting that one area even if you used the same can of paint. With fading and oxidiation the hues will be different. You will probably have to repaint that whole wall.

I have a guy the can fix areas like that.. he's one great painter. But even he has troubles hiding touch-up painting. Is what he does is fades the paint out over a larger area with an almost dry brush. Again - you can still notice it if you're looking for it.
I personally have never been able to do it. He calls it "flash".. i.e. the paint flashes when you touch it up.. due to the factors mj pointed out above.

How about in bath tub...

When the "cream white" enamel finish is damged (someone drop a heavy object on it) and you can see the brown-black iron cast behind ...

Any fix for this?

Hmmm... I'm sure there has to be enamel repair kits out there somewhere. I have no idea where - but has to be something.

Ask at the paint or hardware store for a small jar a 'porcelain' paint.

P.S. You 'accidentally' submitted a picture of a slice of 'American Cheese'.
