Our boiler needs to be replaced, and the one that has been quoted to us has an AFUE% of 86%. It is considered "energy star", but is not up to the 90% required for a tax credit, but this is not my "principal home", so I don't think I could get the tax credit anyways. Should I be looking for a more efficient boiler?
