Hello, I am looking for assistance on putting together a project in my home town. Unfortunately there is a lot of graffiti here, and most store fronts are permanently disfigured by these vandals. Needless to say, it makes the whole city unsightly. I have decided to do something about it... I want to start a graffiti cleanup business. By offering repaint to all vandalized locations with anti-graffiti paint. However, I want to do this with a mobile unit... My question is: Is this possible? Can a paint matching and mixing system be fitted into a vehicle? I want a mobile unit so I can generate on the spot sales and to be able to match any clients paint colors in an instant. Also, I would want to fit a pneumatic spray painting system to finish jobs quickly and go to the next one... Any suggestions?

I'm not sure what would be required for this in Mazatlan, Mexico. But I'll keep my eyes open.

Depending on your location, I assume that one of the largest obstacles could very well be VOC's, etc., as well as the associated licenses, permits, and so on. So, while your plan certainly seems to have merit, you may want to investigate the feasibility of actually being able to perform the work, and then research the equipment that you will need, based on what you may or may not be able to do in such an environment.

Thanks guys...
I agree that certain licenses and permits are required, as with most any business, I'm not sure how complicated that would be here (I live in Mazatlan, Mexico), but what I really haven't been able to find is any information regarding the equipment required to tackle such a project and the adaptability of said equipment onto a vehicle of some sort (cargo van or such). Any ideas?

Here is a site that you might want to look at:

http://www.graco.com/Internet/T_CEDDst.nsf/Search?OpenAgent&Query=MEX

I have worked with Graco for many years, and know that the quality of their lubrication equipment is very good, so although I have no experience with their painting equipment, I do know that they handle equipment very similar to what you described, and have no reservations in suggesting that you look at their's. If nothing else, it seems quite likely that the people who handle their equipment handle other brands as well. Good luck!
