I would appreciate any good input on my situation. I am need a garage/shop/RV parking area. I was ready to buy a 40x40 steel building with 16' walls and 3/12 roof. While checking the city for set backs on the old 20x25 garage I found the city in my E-1 zone would not allow a steel building. "Steel walls or roof". I have looked at SIPS, structural Insulated Panel Systems and "stickbuilt".
Do you know of any "kit" garages of this type of size?
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Whit / Ability

To get a garage of that size built, you will most likely have to stick-build it, either by yourself or a contractor (or both). Search online for a plan to suit you, then shop around the materials list to different suppliers for the best price.
Most garage-kit suppliers don't ship to FL or CA because of the stricter building and/or zoning codes.
Even with buying a plan off the internet, you may still need to have an architect or engineer approve or change it for your local codes.

Thank you all for the input/ I’m searching for pre-cert'd plans or I'll end up getting mine signed off.
Thanks from the C-20 Contractor
