I figure there is a technical name for this. What I got is regular metal junction boxes in my attic with the phone lines coming in and out of each. Its a 2 line system and the wires are just wire nutted together. I figure there has to be a more professional was of hooking these wires together. To try to explain a little better. The main line goes into the first box and then to the next box. each box has 3 to 4 phone lines going down the walls into each room with 3 to 4 phone jacks in each room. What I would like to do is remove each junction box/wire nut set up and replace them with something made for this. Make sense??

Surprised that I got no replies. I found a GE Phone Wire Junction Box Model # 26545004 Internet # 100556231 at Home Depot. Seems to work well enough and looks so much better then what I got before.

Now for the next project, running wire to get rid of my wireless internet. I will start a new thread for this.
