Ok, my husband and I are building a shed that is 16' x 20'. We have framed it all up, but since he wants loft space for storage, he wanted a gmabrel roof. We can find nothing concrete on how to figure the angles. We would like 6 foot of roof space, please if anyone can help us, that would be great, tonight we spent four hours trying to figure the angle thing out and lengths.

I've drawn 16' wide and 6' to the bottom of the collar tie. 3' in on each side and 3' up from collar to peak. If you like it snap that out on the floor and cut the pieces to that. That method is called "lofting" and is as simple as it gets. Reinforce the joints with plywood gussets, glue and plenty of nails. I'd build them as trusses on the snapped lines and set each aside as I built the next, then raise them all.
