You need to get a knowledgeable builder or engineer to take a look at what is causing the problem, something has caused the joists to come disconnected.

Just curious as to what you think brought about the problem. I am a little fearful of the same situation happening to me as well. Thanks
I'd spend my money on a Structural Engineer. Have them visit the site and give you a written comment on the cause and remedy. In the mean time I would temporarily shore up the floor. You can build a temporary stud wall or rent shoring jacks and beams asap.

What does that mean they're disconnected? They disconnected from what? How many joists are dropped?

I noticed the op has not been back since that edit time in the first post.

May have tried to fix it using the advice they got from Home Depot and tried using Gorilla glue and it fell on them.
