I have never seen one that paid enough to bother with. Because of writing 20 magazine articles, I get a few requests.

I write for the enjoyment, especially if it is for a marketing and/or business plan. The detailed "How To Do It" articles are a pain because of the nit-picking local traditions, methods and expectations that can take a trmendous amount of work to make it meaningful for everyone, but the buyers of the articles are too cheap and want it watered down.

It is easy and fast to crank out a "junk" article using voice recognition software and Word with spelling and grammer checking for light magazine reading.
