My father purchased this saw while he was helping on a project we were doing. I was so impressed with it out of the box that I purchased one about a month later. We performed the "nickel on edge test" during start up and not a waiver. For a contractor style saw I can honestly say that it's performed well over that stigma. I've made several night stands, a changing table, crib, and some small projects with it and I've had no trouble at all with quality. The one thing I would upgrade right off the bat is the miter gauge - it does it's intended function but not much beyond that. The fence has remained parallel and also performs well. Of course it could always be upgraded to a Biesmeyer or similar and do better. I'll be writing a more in depth review of this in the near future.
